Hopeless Hearts

Anatoly whisper wanders the streets, alone and afraid. The towering structures of Big City loom over him, making him feel even less of a person. He is a robot, one of the few of his kind, living in a world that doesn't want him. His father, the maker, built him in secrecy as a stand in for the son he never had. When the maker died of a heart attack, Anatoly found himself alone. The world in which he exists is filled with contempt and disdain for his kind,
and he is looked upon with hate filled eyes. With his maker gone, who will look after him? Anatoly reflects on his time with the maker, and wonders what the world will do to him now.

Snow falls in the streets, concrete shifting beneath your feet, a dirty grey you fall into a broken sleep.
wishing only the best for the dearly departed, you stress the difference between him and me
