about
The Participation Plague
Anatoly is walking the streets of big city, trying to think of where he can find more information about Waitrose. Four drunk men stumble out of a nearby pub, and begin to abuse him. They call him hurtful things, they say he has no soul and that he is a monster. One of the men picks up a glass bottle from the gutter and
tries to attack Anatoly with it. A passing stranger provides a moment of kindness, and tries to reason with the men, to give Anatoly a chance to escape their hateful attacks. The men become frustrated and begin to attack the stranger instead, beating him near to death and calling him demeaning things. Anatoly runs away, forever grateful for the stranger who took the blame.
lyrics
We are all a part of something that doesn't need us,. desperately clinging to life, if you thought you were special you were wrong, we are all the same, and we'll all end up in the same place
they called it the line in the sand where in the great divide, we will learn to fight, there's blood in the river, so you better not drink from it, there is a plague and we are all a part of it
they look upon me with hate deep instilled, what did i dop wrong by them? they want to take me apart, I'm a crime they say, and i don't belong
they called it the line in the sand where in the great divide, we will learn to fight, there's blood in the river, so you better not drink from it, there is a plague and we are all a part of it
besides the lies i forget to take your name, a passing stranger feels compelled to take the blame
and with that i say goodbye, my gears no longer turn for you, this broken body of mine will cause no further worry
they called it the line in the sand where in the great divide, we will learn to fight, theres blood in the river, so you better not drink from it, there is a plague and we are all a part of it
